Community Resources
To address the barriers to learning and keep children and youth in school, the LAUSD Local District 2 Resource Directory provides quick access to information on physical and mental health and social services. Most listings are located in the San Fernando Valley, however since a number of our students travel, we have also listed resources in other areas of the district.
The Resource Directory, approximately 150 pages, is now available online and can be printed for easy reference. You can reach the Directory by clicking on (or typing) the following Internet address into the address bar of your browser window: http://www.lausd.k12.ca.us/District_2/orgfac.htm. On the Organization Facilitator page under Health/Human Services, you will find the link to the Resource Directory. From the Table Of Contents, you can find the desired section and click on the page number to get to the section immediately.
For your convenience and quick access, you can also use a pull-down menu and keyword search for a specific resource using the LAUSD District 2 Resource Directory on the ValleyCCC.org website.
